Atlanta Falcons Schedule Odds & Analysis - NFL News & Odds

May 22, 2020

The Atlanta Falcons team has been disappointed since they were traced in Super Bowl LI. They have also gone two years without going to the playoffs, which is a disaster since the team they have indicates that they can do much more. With the big reinforcements they acquired, Atlanta must deal with a tough division. These are the toughest games for the 2020 season. Let’s take a look at the Atlanta Falcons schedule, so you can place your bets against their NFL odds.

Atlanta Falcons Schedule Analysis

Week 1 Falcons vs Seahawks

The Seahawks have a great offense, but their defense is a little suspicious. Given the talent Atlanta has to attack, using the versatility of running back Todd Gurley and the explosiveness of catcher Julio Jones, the Falcons are an offense capable of hitting Seattle.

However, the same can be said of Seattle against Atlanta, whose defense is not the strongest. It will be a game where both franchises will score points and the defense that manages to stop one or two rival offensives can give victory to any of the franchises.

Week 6 Vikings vs Falcons

The visit to Minnesota is very complicated, because the team looks strong, a candidate to compete for its division and to fight a lot in the NFC. Therefore, the Falcons should have an almost perfect game to leave the north with a victory.

Julio Jones is the way to look outside the numbers for quarterback Matt Ryan, since Minnesota cornerbacks aren’t exactly the strongest. Likewise, the Calvin Ridley receiver will also be able to cause quite a bit of damage. Ryan must be precise and smart for Atlanta to come out on top.

Week 11 Saints vs Falcons

This divisional rivalry is high-voltage and leaving the visit to New Orleans with a victory would be crucial to hitting the table and for postseason aspirations with the Falcons. Although the Saints have better defense, in attack the teams are mirrors, in some way.

What running back Alvin Kamara does with the Saints, Gurley does with the Falcons. Julio Jones and wide receiver Michael Thomas are both two of the best in the entire NFL and Matt Ryan has been an MVP, while Drew Brees is one of the best quarterbacks in the league. Both offenses will hit each other the hardest in a vibrant match.

Week 16 Chief vs Falcons

This is basically the impossible match. The Chiefs are the champions and Arrowhead is a fortress of magnificent proportions where snatching a game from quarterback Patrick Mahomes is really difficult.

However, the Chiefs’ running defense is not an elite defense and running back Todd Gurley can do a lot of damage if he becomes healthy this week. This is important since, in week 16, there is no margin of error to be defeated, even if it is a defeat that may be budgeted.

Week 17 Buccaneers vs Falcons

The Falcons’ schedule is very tough, and the stretch is an absolute nightmare and there is no uglier way to end than visiting Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Buccaneers are a really strong team and their season finale is really important so they can avoid a wild card.

Tampa’s weak point is his secondary and the Falcons can cause damage due to their wide receivers and good quarterback, but Ryan is not a mobile QB and the offensive line will have to give him time for him to reach his goals.

2020 Record Predictions For The Atlanta Falcons

The Falcons are required to compete, if not to qualify for the playoffs. They have a good enough team, and time is running out for head coach Dan Quinn. However, the schedule is not easy and its division is very competitive, so I see Atlanta finishing 8-8 in 2020.

The Falcons team are at +850 odds to win NFC South division.
